I wasn't natural I would have ducking for cover as well. His peace be with you.

Last Relaxer: October 22, 2006
Length of Transition: 6 Months
Date of BC: May 2, 2007
Favorite Style: At this length I love wearing a neat picked out TWA.
Current Routine: I'm currently using the No Poo method that I picked up on Motown Girl's website. My hair is loving it.After that I sometimes use Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, or Hot Six oil to give me some shine. As far as a daily moisturizer is concerned, I use Sta So Fro or Elasta QP's Like Silk.I rotate between those two never using them at the same time.Lastly, I would spray some Isoplus oil sheen before I leave just to give it an extra kick.I repeat this method several times a week due to my being really dry at this stage.
Name: My name is Roz, and I have been on the journey since November 2006
Last Relaxer: The date of my last relaxer was June 2006.
Length of Transition: I had braids put in to ease my transition from relaxed hair in July of '06, so I guess my transition was from July '06 - March 4, 2007.
Date of BC: March 2007 was the B.C. with my best friend cutting the few pitiful strands of relaxer left out of my head.
Favorite Style: My favorite style is the mini puff with a pretty scarf on my head, although I have recently discovered the stretched afro (Thanks Diego!).
Current Routine: I use Carol's Daughter hair products religiously, as well as Hot Six oil, and a spray bottle with water and some Carol's Daughter Hair Oil. I use wide toothed combs, a boar bristle brush, a pick, and sleep with a satin bonnet on my head.I put pretty pins on the scarves I wear and usebra straps as headbands.I hope you enjoy the pictures, as I am so happy to be transitioning. I look younger, walk with more bounce in my step, and feel sophisticated andserene, all at the same time!I have one friend who is hating, but she can't help but get a little twisted in the face when everyone around her compliments my hair and style.Going natural is not just for bohemians - it is for all of us.DON"T FIGHT THE 'FRO! All natural pictures are from this year - March to June '07.
